The Balmoral is located at Edinburgh’s most prestigious address, No. 1 Princes Street, where the Old Town stops and the New Town begins. Our hotel’s majestic clock defines the city’s skyline and since the day we opened in 1902, it has run three minutes fast to ensure our guests will never miss their train.

Your key responsibilities

Rocco Forte Hotels is a collection of iconic hotels that respects the individuality of the location and its team members, encouraging them to be their natural selves while providing a local, authentic experience to our guests.

As a valued part of the Forte family, you will:

• Join a dedicated kitchen team, creating breakfasts fit for our Rocco Forte guests
• Ensure all breakfast offerings are prepared using the finest ingredients to deliver a memorable dining experience
• Take ownership of own tasks and responsibilities in line with the departmental standards
• Cooperate well with colleagues in their team and across departments
• Ensuring health and safety practices are adhered to at all times
• Support the Demi Chef de Partie and the Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth running of a station within our busy kitchen
